Teaching is a demanding yet highly rewarding career.  We are interested to hear from people if they are thinking of becoming a teacher. We’re looking for people who have (or will have) a degree, have a passion for teaching and want to inspire young people to fulfil their potential.

What is SUPA?

WSE is one a of growing number of schools leading the way in terms of creating more school-led teacher training. We link with several other secondary schools in the area in a consortium called ‘SUPA Salisbury’ whose goal is to make Salisbury a centre of excellence in the delivery of teacher training. This means we can choose the very best talent and develop individuals into teachers. We work in alliance with Southampton University with whom we have a strong and long standing relationship training high quality teachers.

Why choose this route into teaching?

It gives you a ‘best of both worlds’ approach in that you get a link with a local school for the year combined with access to the full package of ITT training offered by the University of Southampton.
