Teacher of English

We have an opportunity for an outstanding Teacher to join the English department.

This would be an ideal opportunity for an Early Careers Teacher to join our school which offers excellent support and career progression for teachers at the beginning of their career.

This position is:

  • Permanent;
  • 1.0 FTE.
  • Competitive Salary, Recruitment/Relocation allowances available for an outstanding candidate;

Direct Supply Teachers

Wyvern St Edmund's (WSE) have opportunities for qualified Teachers to join our bank of Supply.

Successful candidates would be employed directly by WSE, but on a Casual basis.  All hours worked would be agreed with you in advance.  This could be for a pre-planned requirement discussed well in advance, or occasionally for short notice cover – dependent on your availability, of course.

This provides the opportunity to be part of school life, supporting our students and part of the WSE family, but to choose when you work.

Exam Invigilators

We require additional Exam Invigilators to work with us at Wyvern St Edmund's Academy.  

We are particularly looking for enthusiastic and supportive individuals that will help to deliver our programme of exams as well as upholding the integrity of the process.

The ideal candidate will be reliable and flexible, have good communication skills and have a confident and reassuring presence in the exam rooms.

Experience is not required, all training will be provided.

These positions are:

  • Casual;
  • Term time only;
  • Required as available (during exam periods);
  • Salary: MLP Grade C, FTE salary £22,737, hourly rate of £13.21 (which includes an amount in respect of holiday pay).
