Funded motivation talk from PUSH

This can be streamed live and organisers are hopeful that a recording will be available following the event.

Description of session

Learning Objectives
- How to approach and reframe failure.
- Self-development- how to adapt and grow from failure.
- Creating aims and objectives and how to achieve them.
- Calming nerves and anxiety over your future.

Session Description
In this session we discuss our top tips on how to approach failure in a positive way. We see ‘failure’ as an opportunity to adapt our approach, grow and build successes from it. Through a mix of interactive exercises, games, polls and quizzes the students fuel our discussion on the positive aspects of failure. We aim to help students create their own short and long term aims and objectives, and help them set out plans to achieve them through daily practice. Finally, using our own experience, we explore different nerve- handling, focus and confidence building techniques that students can use when dealing with anxiety over exams and their future.
