Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy (WSE) are looking for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join our team.
This position is:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Permanent
- Term-time only (39 weeks per year)
- Salary: MLP Grade H, FTE £31,537. Pro-rata salary of £27,492

Teaching Assistant
Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy (WSE) are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team.
We are particularly looking for a candidate who is organised, proactive and passionate about working in a school environment to support our students and enable their access to learning.
This position is:
- Permanent;
- Up to 30 hours per week, over 5 days;
- Term time only (39 weeks per year);
- Required for: As soon as available;
- Salary: MLP Grade D. FTE salary £25,385. Pro-rata salary £17,703.

- Start Date: As soon as possible.

Cleaners
We currently have a requirement for additional cleaners to join our Site Team and work with us at Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy.
Wyvern St Edmund’s is proud of its reputation as a happy and caring school. We require enthusiastic individuals to help maintain the high cleanliness standards of all of the buildings and facilities across our large site.
The successful candidate must have previous cleaning experience.
This position is:
- Permanent
- 3 hours a day between 3pm and 7pm. Applications considered for both 5 days per week, or fewer than 5 days per week (exact days to be discussed/agreed).
- Term time only with an additional 2 weeks for holiday deep cleans (41 weeks per year)
- To start as soon as available
- Salary: MLP Grade B, FTE salary £24,414. £12.65 per hour.
- Closing date: 9am on Friday 9th January 2026
