Headteacher
Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy is seeking an exceptional and inspiring leader to become its next Headteacher. This is a rare opportunity to lead a flourishing, values-driven Church of England secondary academy at an exciting stage in its development. Closely supported through MLP Academies Trust, Wyvern St Edmund’s is well set to grow and achieve the highest standards for both pupils and staff.
Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy was formed through the successful amalgamation of St Edmund’s Girls’ School and Wyvern College. The academy is now firmly established as a single, cohesive community with a strong culture rooted in Christian values, academic ambition, and exceptional pastoral care. The Role:
With the support of MLP, the Headteacher will provide clear strategic leadership and vision, building on the academy’s many strengths and leading it confidently into its next phase of development. Working closely with an experienced senior leadership team, committed governors, and the Trust’s executive team, the Headteacher will ensure high standards of teaching and learning, strong outcomes for all students, and a culture in which staff and students can flourish.
