Every Day is an Open Day at WSE

Choosing the right secondary school is an important decision and we believe the best way to get to know WSE is to see our school as it really is on a normal school day. That’s why we’re opening our doors for school tours every day from Monday 28^th September 2026.

Tours will take place during the school day and will be led by our Student Guides. These personalised tours will give families the opportunity to: see lessons, experience the atmosphere around school, hear directly from our students about what life at WSE is really like and meet our headteacher or another member of the senior team.

We know that families of children currently in Year 6 are making important decisions about secondary school applications; Year 6 families will be given priority booking for tours before October half term. Following half term, we will open bookings to Year 5 families, giving them an early opportunity to start exploring their secondary school options. We also welcome visits from any other prospective families, local community members or potential staff members who want to see the school in action.
