WSE L.E.A.D Wellbeing Buddy System
We are pleased to announce our new and improved WSE L.E.A.D Wellbeing Buddy System.
At WSE, we pride ourselves in creating a safe space for all and a sense of community within our school. To further grow our school community, we want to focus on our newest members within WSE, therefore we are re-launching our school buddy system.
We are asking students, to join us and become part of something bigger - the WSE L.E.A.D wellbeing team. Being a part of this team, will encourage leadership, self-development and provide students with a greater perspective and empathy towards others. Students within Years 8, 9 and 10 will be given an opportunity to attend professional wellbeing training as well as being given tools to deliver vital support sessions to our Year 7 cohort as part of our tutorial curriculum of 2026.
To become a WSE L.E.A.D Buddy, all students are asked to complete an application form (Deadline 8th October 2026), and they will be invited for an informal chat with our Wellbeing Lead Ms Clark.
We would like to encourage all students within Year 8,9 and 10 to consider becoming a L.E.A.D buddy. This will be a great opportunity to develop personal skills, leadership and further build positive relationships as well as giving back to our WSE students and providing valuable support.
We are currently launching this to our students within Head of Year assemblies – all students will be given an application form, or please print the attachment below.
